Cleveland, Ohio – Easy2 Technologies, a leading full-service provider of rich retail content and online product demonstrations, has announced the launch of its newest offering, a Web-based application that allows manufacturers to create and syndicate unlimited product selectors for a flat monthly fee.

The MYO (Make Your Own) Product Selector application allows for the creation of interactive product selectors that guide prospective buyers to the best available product based on their unique needs and desires, created by manufacturing or retail personnel with little or no technical experience. Additionally, the product selectors are seamlessly syndicated across all retail and partner channels.

While e-tail personalization has been a hot topic for years, an increasing number of manufacturers have come to realize that implementing an efficient and turnkey solution, such as product selectors, is one of the easiest ways to assist consumers that have a defined need and are ready to purchase. These online tools direct potential customers toward making an educated final decision, while lifting key metrics such as conversion and revenue.

The MYO Product Selector application allows consumers to easily filter product attributes that are customized for a manufacturer’s offered products, including features, price, colors, application and any other relevant fields. Consumers can sort the products by simply choosing the attributes that interest them – narrowing the number of products shown. Additionally, at any time, details of any specific product or a side-by-side comparison of multiple products can be displayed and printed for future reference.

For retailers, the ability to utilize multi-brand selectors allows for increased sales without showing preference for one brand over another. While a single-brand version created by a manufacturer enables quick cross-product comparisons. For example, DeWALT, manufacturer of more than 300 power tool and equipment products, can display “good, better, best” products that match a consumer’s product selector answers, thereby increasing the opportunity for an “up-sell”.

Relevant for nearly any industry, MYO Product Selectors are even used by the leading retail farm and ranch store brand in America, Tractor Supply Company. “I’ve found Easy2 to be very easy to work with and we have now launched two selectors with more to come,” said India Stone from Tractor Supply Co. “TSC can now give our customers a simple method to get the right product, the first time.”

In addition to the MYO Product Selector, Easy2 Technologies also provides several other solutions that directly “plug in” to the new application to enhance the overall experience. For example, product demonstrations can be added to the integrated detail pages, allowing 360-degree rotations, videos and image gallery capabilities to be included directly within the product selector. Manufacturers and retailers can also allow customers to help “sell” products and create an online community for product information through Easy2 Ratings and Reviews.
